Who runs this site
TravelConnectly is an independent site run by Eron. You can reach me at hello@travelconnectly.com with any privacy question or request.
What this site collects directly
TravelConnectly does not ask you to create an account, and there is no newsletter signup or comment form on the site. If you email me, I receive your email address and whatever you write — I use it only to reply to you, and I don't add it to any mailing list.
Hosting and server logs
This site is hosted by Vercel. Like most web hosts, Vercel automatically records standard technical information when a page is requested, which can include your IP address, browser type, and the page you visited. This is standard server logging used for delivering the site and preventing abuse. Vercel's own privacy practices are described in their privacy policy.
Affiliate links and tracking
Guides on this site contain affiliate links to NordVPN, Surfshark, Saily, SafetyWing, and Wise. When you click one, the destination company (or the affiliate network they use, such as Impact or Partnerize) may set a cookie in your browser so that a resulting signup can be credited to this site. That tracking is operated by those companies, not by me — and it's governed by their privacy policies, not this one.
I receive only aggregate reporting from those networks: how many clicks and signups occurred. I do not receive your name, email address, payment details, or any other personal information about you from them.
Cookies
TravelConnectly does not set its own tracking cookies and does not run advertising networks. The only cookies you may encounter come from the affiliate networks described above, and only after you click an affiliate link. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; doing so won't stop the site working.
Fonts and external resources
Pages on this site load fonts from Google Fonts. This means your browser makes a request to Google's servers, which can involve your IP address being processed by Google as part of delivering the font files.
Your rights
Depending on where you live — for example under the GDPR in the EU/EEA and UK, or the CCPA in California — you may have the right to request access to personal data held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to certain processing. Since this site holds almost no personal data beyond email correspondence, most requests will be simple to handle. Email me and I'll respond.
For data held by the affiliate networks or providers listed above, you'll need to contact them directly, as I have no access to it.
Children
This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 16. I don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
